On May 21, the future of
Hailey will be determined.

The City of Hailey will make an important decision on May 21, 2012, as to whether Quigley Canyon is developed as part of the City of Hailey or as part of Blaine County. This irreversible decision will set the course for how Hailey will grow over the decades to come.

Here's what is at stake:

• Public access to Quigley Canyon’s trails and nature
• Hailey's unique community character
• City revenue and protection of City water supply
• Preservation of critical wildlife habitat

In other words, will Quigley Canyon be smart growth that gives back to the City or sprawling growth that benefits only a few in the County?
